Ellerbe Becket was an architectural firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota with offices in the United States, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai. The firm was founded in 1909 by Franklin Ellerbe and Oliver G. Becket, and has since grown into one of the largest architectural practices in the United States.
Ellerbe Becket was known for its work in healthcare, sports, corporate, and entertainment architecture. Some of the firm's notable projects include the Target Center in Minneapolis, Union Station in Kansas City, and the King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
In 2009, Ellerbe Becket merged with AECOM, a global engineering and design firm, and the name was phased out in 2011. The firm's legacy lives on through AECOM's design and architecture division.
